How to become a member?

Pizzeria with wood-fire oven

Certify your pizzeria or restaurant and join the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana.

1) Review the  AVPN International Regulations

2) Send complete documentation

  • subscription form (Click here)
  • copy of your restaurant business licence;
  • a short description or story of the restaurant;
  • The restaurant logo in Jpeg format;
  • Three short videos of the pizza process ( preparation of the pizza dough, cutting and preparation of the balls, preparation, handling and cooking of a Pizza Margherita until the final presentation of the pizza in the plate).

3) The completed documentation will be reviewed in Naples, Italy. The directory board will examine and approve or decline it . (This process is at least 30 days)

4) An inspection of the restaurant will be conducted for the approved application, by a delegate of the AVPN.

5) Upon approval the restaurant will receive the AVPN certificate and exterior signage. This process is at least other 30 days.

Pizzeria with gas oven

a) Do you make the True Neapolitan Pizza in your pizzeria? b) Do you have the documents attesting you can’t install a wood-fired oven?

If you fulfill these 2 conditions learn more about how becoming a member of AVPN.

1) Review the  AVPN International Regulations . Cooking process and temperatures specified for the wood-burning oven must also be observed for the gas oven.

2) Send the following documentation:

  • Complete the application, available online, (Click here);
  • Copy of the restaurant license;
  • The documents attesting you can’t install a wood-fired oven
  • A brief history of your business;
  • Your company logo;
  • Video of the pizza process;
  • Photos of the gas oven, pizzeria and pizzas.

3) The completed documentation will be reviewed in Naples, Italy. The directory board will examine and approve or decline it . (This process is at least 30 days)

4) An inspection of the restaurant will be conducted for the approved application, by a delegate of the AVPN.

5) Upon approval you’ll receive the certification and exterior signage for Neapolitan Pizza with Gas Oven. This process is at least 30 days.

Pizzeria with electric oven

a) Is your Electric Oven approved by AVPN?
b) Do you have the documents attesting you can’t install a wood-fired oven?

If you fulfill these 2 conditions and in your pizzeria you make the True Neapolitan Pizza learn more about how becoming a member of AVPN.

2) Send the following documentation

  • Complete the application, available online,
  • Copy of the restaurant license;
  • The documents attesting you can’t install a wood-fired oven
  • A brief history of your business;
  • Your company logo;
  • Video of the pizza process;
  • Photos of the electric oven, pizzeria and pizzas.

3) The completed documentation will be reviewed in Naples, Italy. The directory board will examine and approve or decline it. (This process is at least 30 days)

4) An inspection of the restaurant will be conducted for the approved application, by a delegate of the AVPN.

5) Upon approval you’ll receive the certification and exterior signage for Neapolitan Pizza with Electric Oven. This process is at least 30 days.

FRIED PIZZA

Certify your pizzeria or restaurant and join the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana:

2) Send the following documentation

  • Copy of the restaurant license;
  • The documents attesting you can’t install a wood-fired oven
  • A brief history of your business;
  • Your company logo;
  • Video of the pizza process
 

3) The completed documentation will be reviewed in Naples, Italy. The directory board will examine and approve or decline it. (This process is at least 30 days)

4) An inspection of the restaurant will be conducted for the approved application, by a delegate of the AVPN.

5) After verification, you will receive the certificate and the Neapolitan Pizza Fritta external table. In the event that the pizzeria is already affiliated with the Association, the table will keep the previously assigned numbering.
